The 10 most popular series on Netflix this week: April 2026
What actually stands out about the Netflix Top 10 chart this week is how little loyalty viewers seem to have to any one kind of show. Might sound funny, but it’s true. Sure, you might think that it’s the audience that controls the Top 10 chart, but what you don’t know is that Netflix knows what you want to watch, and hence, it’s designed accordingly.
Take Trust Me: The False Prophet, for example, which has ended up right at the top again this week, and once you start hearing what it’s about, it makes sense why it’s held that position. The show is about a real-life cult story where a man managed to convince thousands of people that he had some sort of authority over them. The worst part is how easily it happened when people telling the story are the ones who were actually there, trying to make sense of it after the fact. It’s brought in close to 7 million views this week, which is massive for something that isn’t exactly easy viewing, and yet people can’t pause once they start.
Then, second in the line is a show which wasn’t in the top five, and now, with a massive jump to number two, we have Salish & Jordan Matter, which feels like it belongs in a completely different space but still has managed to get massive viewership. And the reason behind that is that it has that fast, familiar energy people already know from online content. People don’t have to keep up much and can enjoy it without too much commitment.
Somewhere in the middle of all that sits Big Mistakes, which has climbed faster than expected. Who is surprised? Because come on, it’s Dan Levy! Big Mistakes follows two siblings who get involved in organised crime after making what should have been a small decision. The way things take a surprising turn after that is the real hook. People have been bingeing it left and right and centre, and it is surprising that it still hasn’t landed in the first position.
XO, Kitty, season three, is the next in line, and the watchers of this show are those who already know who’s coming back for it. If you have followed it from before, you’re in. If you haven’t, you’re probably not starting here. Kitty is still navigating her life in Korea, balancing relationships and everything that comes with being far from home. This season is more about her emotional side of her story, and with Lana Condor returning as Lara Jean, this season is a bigger deal than you think.
Next in line is the usual spot holder on Netflix Top 10 chart: Raw: April 13, 2026, followed by At Home With The Furys season two. The next in line is The Cleaning Lady, which is about Thony, who is a doctor back home but is now living in the US illegally while trying to get treatment for her son. Since things don’t work out through the normal system, she takes cleaning jobs to get by. Then one night, she sees a murder, and instead of minding her own business, she gets involved with working for the people behind it, cleaning up crime scenes so there is no evidence left. Quite an interesting premise, right? Totally with the watch too.
Changing the premise totally, we have Temptation Island season two, which continues doing exactly what people expect from it: putting relationships under pressure and letting the fallout play out. No wonder it’s been on the list a while. And then right alongside that, you have got Danny Go!, which has slipped from its number three position but has still managed to be somehow on the list.
Ending the chart this week is BEEF season two, with the current position number ten, but it is most likely to top the chart next week. Keep an eye on it now, would you?
