The 10 most popular movies on Netflix this week: November 2025

The most popular movies chart on Netflix has undergone a complete makeover this week. But us? We’re not complaining.

The days of stagnant cinematic trends are long gone, and new players are leaving no stone unturned, having set their eyes on the prize.

While Frankenstein may have topped the charts for two weeks straight, the holiday rom-com fever is officially in full swing with Champagne Problems peaking at the summit. Having amassed a whopping 20.5million views alone this week, the Minka Kelly and Tom Wozniczka-starrer is currently leading the race in 51 countries.

Succeeding the surprise chart-topper is Alex Woo’s animated adventure comedy, In Your Dreams, presently clutching silver with 16.6million views in its second week on the most popular movies chart globally. Moving on, we have Guillermo del Toro’s passion project on the third, which, despite its fall in the charts, remains the number one movie in 11 countries.

Rounding out the top five titles on this week’s most popular movies chart is a bone-chilling documentary, The Carman Family Deaths, followed by KPop Demon Hunters, at fourth and fifth positions, respectively.

Speaking of the Christmas rom-com craze, the next movie on the list is a quirky one, A Merry Little Ex-Mas, starring Alicia Silverstone. Following it pretty closely on the charts is Joel Egerton’s groundbreaking adaptation, Train Dreams, directed by Clint Bentley.

In the week from November 17th to November 23rd, Selena y Los Dinos: A Family’s Legacy has also entered the most popular movies chart globally. After amassing 4.8million views this week, it stands in the eighth position.

Meanwhile, a Denzel Washington-led crime thriller has found a home on the charts, The Little Things, currently ranking ninth. While the film enjoyed a far more assuring position in last week’s chart, considering the overall shuffles, this doesn’t come as a surprise.

As for the last? Wrapping up this week’s most popular movies chart is a Tom Hanks-led drama, A Man Called Otto. And with that, it’s the end of the trends, at least, for this week.
