The most popular movies chart on Netflix is wilding this week, with the previous week’s chart-topper clearly busy making itself at home once again.

That’s right! The sci-fi sequel spectacle War Machine, starring Alan Ritchson and Dennis Quaid, has again topped the most popular movies chart in the week dated March 9th to March 15th after amassing a whopping 44.4million views. It is currently the number one movie in 87 countries, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, the Bahamas, Canada, and Chile, among others.

Next on the list is Louis Theroux’s explosive new documentary, Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere. With 6.3million views, the Netflix documentary is ranked the number one movie in two countries! While the first two entries are not exactly a surprise, the one that follows might just be.

For a change of air, ranked third on the most popular movies chart is an animated blast from the past, Shark Tale, co-directed by Vicky Jenson, Bibo Bergeron, and Rob Letterman. The adventure comedy movie garnered 5.4million views, becoming one of the top 10 titles in 74 countries.

Up next is our beloved Oscar-winner, KPop Demon Hunters, still going strong on the most popular movies chart in its 39th week since release. While it is also one of the top 10 titles in 45 countries this week, the award-winning animated movie has officially entered its sequel era, meaning existing fans have twice as many reasons to keep rewatching it.

Rounding out the top five titles on the most popular movies chart this week is the 1999 crime thriller, Double Jeopardy, directed by Bruce Beresford. In addition to being the top ten movie in 50 countries, it has earned 3.5million views globally this time around.

Following the crime drama closely on the most popular movies chart is the psychological thriller inspired by true historical events, based on Jack El-Hai’s 2013 book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist, Nuremberg. Although the buzz was palpable since its streaming debut on Netflix, it is now ranked sixth on global charts with 3.1million views.

Tied with the historical drama on the most popular movies chart this week is the 2025 action thriller Nobody 2, with 3.1million views. Meanwhile, succeeding the action drama is the beloved animated spy comedy movie The Boss Baby, with 2.7millon views.

Lastly, a 2000s rom-com, 27 Dresses, is peeking through the most popular movies chart ranked ninth, followed by Jurassic World Rebirth in tenth. And with that, it’s officially a wrap for the week.
