There’s something oddly fascinating about the most popular movies chart on Netflix this week, all thanks to an off-season offering that’s turning up the heat in more ways than one.

Although the tease could get a bit confusing due to the streamer’s dynamic arrival arc this June, for those unable to pinpoint, the Netflix craze is all about Jennifer Lopez’s workplace rom-com, co-starring Brett Goldstein.

In the week ending June 7th, Office Romance debuted on the most popular movies chart with a whopping 20.9million views, becoming the number one movie in 63 countries, including Argentina, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and Ecuador, among others. While the rise is not exactly a surprise, what follows surely is.

Following the recent addition of the Creed trilogy to Netflix, Creed III has risen to number two on the most popular movies chart with 7.9million views. The American sports drama starring Michael B Jordan is among the top 10 trending movies in 40 countries. So, if you’re yet to catch up on it, this is the cue!

Ranked third on the most popular movies chart this week is Nathan Greno’s record-breaking animated fantasy adventure, Swapped, still going strong in its sixth week since its release, with 7.5million views. Following it just as closely is yet another animated offering, the 2025 Biblical movie David, positioned fourth with 6.2million views.

Up next on the most popular movies chart, we have The Murder of Rachell Nickell with 6.1million views. The true-crime Netflix documentary recounting the shocking killing in 1992 serves as the counterpart of the three-episode limited series, The Witness, currently streaming on Netflix. Meanwhile, on the sixth, Netflix has yet another true-crime documentary, The Crash, making waves with 5.7million views in its fourth week since its release.

While trends come and go every week, the movie that seems to have suffered the most in rankings is undoubtedly last week’s chart-topper, Ladies First. The body-swap comedy, starring Sacha Baron Cohen and Rosamund Pike, slipped straight from the first to the seventh spot on the most popular movies chart this week with 5.3million views.

Next on the queue is another animated title, the sports comedy starring Caleb McLaughlin, GOAT. Moving on to the ninth candidate, we have Creed splashing like it should on the most popular movies chart.

Last but not least, it’s the Oscar-winning KPop Demon Hunters ranked tenth on the most popular movies chart this week, having earned 3.7million views during the week of June 1st to June 7th. And with that, we officially come to a close this time around.
