During the week of June 22nd to June 28th, the summertime rom-com, Voicemails for Isabelle, starring Zoey Deutch and Nick Robinson, amassed a whopping 31million views on the most popular movies chart, becoming the number one movie in 61 countries, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, the Bahamas, Canada, and Chile, among others. So, it goes without saying that the watch party starts right at the top.

Up next on the most popular movies chart, we have the laugh-out-loud comedy, Little Brother, starring John Cena and Eric Andre. In its debut week, the Netflix comedy garnered 14million views and is currently ranked second internationally.

Moving on to the third spot, it’s Jessica Dimmock’s chilling true-crime movie, Maternal Instinct, still going strong in its third week since release. In the week ending June 28, the Netflix documentary earned 8.5million views and remains one of the top 10 titles in 48 countries.

Next on the most popular movies chart is the record-breaking animated comedy, Swapped, directed by Nathan Greno. In its ninth week since release, the fantasy adventure comedy movie is ranked fourth with 4.6million views this week. Meanwhile, rounding out the top five titles is another sultry summer rom-com, Office Romance, with 4.3million views.

Ranked sixth on the most popular movies chart this week is the Oscar-winning K-pop musical, KPop Demon Hunters. Although it previously bid adieu to the coveted US charts, the animated movie is still making waves globally on Netflix. And in case you’re unaware, it’s back in the Stateside as well.

For a change of air, it’s not only the Netflix originals that are trending on the most popular movies chart this week. In fact, the second half is packed with older Hollywood gems, starting with the Wesley Snipes action thriller, The Contractor, followed by an animated blast from the past, Turbo.

Following closely is the 2023 sci-fi action film, The Creator, ranked ninth on the most popular movies chart this week. Lastly, wrapping up the weekly trends once and for all is another gritty action thriller, 5lbs of Pressure. So, with that, we officially come to a close for the week.
