The most popular movies chart on Netflix believes in fair play, which is why the trends come and go without fail every week.

As for the week of July 13th to July 19th? The streamer’s gripping new documentary, Shipwrecked: Nightmare at Sea, has grabbed the throne with a whopping 11.1million views, toppling last week’s chart-topper. The Netflix Original documentary is also currently the number one movie in 18 countries, including Canada, Switzerland, Denmark, Estonia, and the United Kingdom, among others.

Next in line is one of the most-watched rom-coms of the first half of 2026, Voicemails for Isabelle, starring Zoey Deutch and Nick Robinson. In its fifth week on the most popular movies chart, the Netflix movie amassed 5.7million views, remaining one of the top 10 trendsetting titles in 44 countries.

Ranked third on the most popular movies chart this week is Phillip Barantini’s Enola Holmes 3, in which Millie Bobby Brown reprises her role as the Victorian-era sleuth. While it is currently one of the top 10 titles in 48 countries, in the week ending July 19, the detective movie garnered 4.7million views.

Although several surprise players have made it to this week’s most popular movies chart, opening the floodgates of Netflix non-original trendsetters at number four is the 2025 romantic drama based on Colleen Hoover’s 2019 novel, Regretting You, with 3.9million views. Meanwhile, rounding out the top five candidates of the week is the 2023 sci-fi action movie Meg 2: The Trench, with 3.6million views.

Up next on the most popular movies chart, we have KPop Demon Hunters, keeping the streak going for 57 consecutive weeks. This week alone, the Oscar-winning musical fantasy earned 3.4million views, ranking sixth on the international chart. Also, with 3.4million views, the Agatha Christie adaptation Death on the Nile is positioned seventh, following its latest addition to Netflix libraries last week.

While KPop Demon Hunters has made itself right at home on the most popular movies chart, so has this cult animated movie, The Boss Baby, which completed its 27th week in global rankings with 3.3million views. Sharing a similar viewership figure is the 2001 psychological horror, Joy Ride, starring Paul Walker.

The final entry of the week on the most popular movies chart is the newest movie from the Sniper franchise, Sniper: No Nation, with 3.2million views. And with that, it’s officially a wrap for the week!
