The 10 most popular movies on Netflix this week: February 2026
The most popular movies chart on Netflix is wilding once again this week, and a lot of the credit goes to the arrival arc of the last one, which has caught viewers in a showbiz spell.
Right at the top, there is Tyler Perry’s latest road comedy movie set in the Madea universe, Joe’s College Road Trip, going undisputed on its second week since release. In the week from February 16th to February 26th, the Madea spin-off amassed 10.4million views, becoming the number one movie in eight countries, including the Bahamas, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, and Martinique, among others.
Clutching silver on the most popular movies chart globally this week is the Ridley Scott-directed sci-fi horror movie, Prometheus, the fifth instalment of the Alien film series. In addition to garnering 6.6million views this week, the 2012 movie starring Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, and Idris Elba, among others, became the number one title in 16 countries.
Moving on to the third spot, it is KPop Demon Hunters still going strong, like time never passed. Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, the animated fantasy musical is currently one of the top ten titles in 42 countries for its 36th week on the most popular movies chart, having earned 6million views.
While Netflix already added several existing Hollywood franchises to its library this month, The Addams Family’s arrival has been making waves on the most popular movies chart this week. This means, succeeding the K-pop group of demon slayers globally is The Addams Family, ranked fourth with 5.3million views, followed by The Addams Family 2 with 5.2million views.
On number six, we have the pulse-pounding survival thriller, Fall, about two best friends who climb a creaky, rickety 2,000 metre abandoned radio tower, only to get stuck up above with no way to come back down. The 2022 movie was also recently added to the US platform and debuted with 3.6million views on the most popular movies chart globally.
Next in line is the 2026 action thriller starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, The Rip, with 3.6million views. For its sixth week on the most popular movies chart, the film remains one of the top ten titles in 24 countries.
Meanwhile, Expend4bles has also landed on the chart, following the recent arrival of the Expendables franchise on Netflix US. With 2.9million views, the action-adventure film is positioned eighth on the global charts.
