Following closely is The Hill, a gripping drama based on the true story of baseball player Rickey Hill. With 13.4m hours viewed, this film, in its first week on the global top ten list, has managed to captivate audiences worldwide after spending a week on the US top ten.
Rounding out the top five is Yorgos Lanthimos’s The Favourite, a period drama that has captured 8.7million hours of viewership. This film, starring the inimitable Olivia Colman along with Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone, immerses audiences in the intricate political manoeuvres of the 18th-century court, where power and betrayal go hand in hand.
The list continues with the unlikely Margot Robbie hit, The Legend of Tarzan, The Super Mario Bros. Movie on its ninth-week streak, finance dramedy Dumb Money, crime caper Queenpins, and the animated Leo.
