‘That Night’: The only limited series on Netflix to binge-watch this weekend
If you love a good crime drama to keep you company every weekend, and a limited series is all you can honestly fit in after meeting your friends at the bar and spending time with your family following a history of failed get-togethers, we’ve got you covered this time with a chilling six-part thriller, That Night, on Netflix.
That Night is a Spanish Netflix Original crime drama series based on Gillian McAllister’s Sunday Times bestseller. Created by Jason George, the show is co-directed by Jorge Dorado and Liliana Torres.
Vacations are mostly associated with a time well spent, but the one at the centre of Netflix’s latest crime thriller ends in a disaster beyond repair. That Night tells the story of three sisters, Elena, Paula, and Cris, who, on a family vacation in the Dominican Republic, find themselves embroiled in an unlikely accident.
Elena runs over a man with a car, of course, accidentally, and the only people she can turn to are her sisters, who arrive in no time.
Although desperate to pull their sister out of the pit she has fallen into, Paula and Cris must decide fast about how to handle the entire situation, considering they can barely imagine the thought of Elena behind bars, leaving her only child without a mother.
While there’s no doubt that the sisters would go to any length to save one of their own, the question is: just how far? “That Night forces three sisters to confront the depth of love, the weight of loyalty, and how far one can go for family.”
Portraying the three sisters in That Night are Clara Galle as Elena, Claudia Salas as Paula, and Paula Usero as Cris. In addition to the series leads, the cast includes Pedro Casablanc, Null Garcia, Gabriel Polanco, Raidher Diaz, Alicia Falco, Julen Clarke, Pablo Ziro, Peio Etxarri, Ignacio Visca, Luis del Valle and Sonya Pena.

Scheduled to hit Netflix shelves globally on March 13th, That Night arrives just in time for the weekend. So, if you are low on time but still want to sneak in some promising entertainment, make room for this six-episode thriller that’s about to shake you up with a tale of a vacation gone wrong.
