Another week goes by, and we have another set of the most popular series of the week to sink your teeth into. While Netflix was founded on the premise of great movies, it has since become a haven for some of the best series the world has to offer. Below, we have ten of the most popular.
The story this week has moved on from the spookier side of things last week, despite Naomi Watts’ stalker-sensation The Watcher enjoying its fourth week in the charts with 35 million hours of watching. But that doesn’t mean we are without the dark side of life.
Halloween may be over, but Netflix users are still completely infatuated with marauding macabre, as is demonstrated by their continued love of DAHMER, which has grabbed another 28 million hours of viewing to confirm its seventh week in the charts, something which may have also helped it seal two more seasons.
Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities and The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself are also still on the list with a combined 68 million hours of viewing. There is also a new entry on the list from the true crime arena, Killer Sally, which focuses on a crime of passion between two bodybuilders.
David Tennant’s new series with Netflix, Inside Man, sees him portray a blood-splattered vicar, and the thriller has already grabbed audiences by the dog collars. A mammoth 53 million hours of watching has seen it take the second spot in this week’s charts. however, the real story is all about Manifest.
The cult series has not only grabbed the top spot with its fourth season achieving a huge 57 million hours of viewing, but its first season is now enjoying its 20th week in the charts and still garnered 20 million hours of viewing, ensuring that this series will hang around for a little while longer.
