Finn Wolfhard responds to Millie Bobby Brown kissing criticism

Finn Wolfhard, one of the stars of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, has responded to co-star Mille Bobby Brown’s claim that his kissing “sucks”.

Brown made the assertion when taking part in a lie detector test for Vanity Fair. At the time, she was asked if Wolfhard is “just a lousy kisser”, to which she responded: “He is”. The test considered her answer true.

She was then asked, “So he hasn’t gotten better?” The actor replied: “Not with me, no.” The equipment again deemed her answer as the truth.

In a new episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Wolfhard gave his side of the story after being asked about his colleague’s comments. He said he was “fine with it”, explaining: “My first on-screen kiss was with Millie, but I didn’t know how to approach that in any way.”

“There was no just like, ‘You’re gonna do this thing, and at the end of the take, you’re gonna kiss her,'” he continued before revealing that his confusion about the situation led to him “almost headbutting her”.

Looking back on the moment, Wolfhard said: “The romantic way of putting it was that I headbutted her. But I was 12, so, you know, I probably would have done the same thing if I was not on screen in front of the entire world.”

As for their acting careers, Wolfhard and Brown have been busy. The former’s next film comes in the form of When You Finish Saving the World, Jesse Eisenberg’s directorial debut. Starring alongside Julianne Moore, it tells the story of a mother and son attempting to connect. It will be released in the US on January 20th.

As for Millie Bobby Brown, Netflix recently shared a first peek at their upcoming fantasy film Damsel. In the movie, she plays a princess sacrificed to a dragon that is forced to save herself.
