‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ contestant claims Netflix wanted players to have sex

A contestant on the hit reality game show Squid Game: The Challenge has made the claim that Netflix, who produced and released the programme, wanted the players to have sex with one another when the recording took place.

When appearing on a podcast, Player 418 Roland Hannigan discusses his time on the show with Player 301 Trey Plutnicki, with Hannigan noting, “I swear Netflix wanted us to have sex,” adding, “Like, not me and you.”

Hannigan continued, “They were craving for someone to have sex because they made a very big point that we were not tested for STDs. And they made it clear, ‘We’re not going to stop you.’”

According to Player 418, Netflix had provided several condoms in the shower room for contestants to use.

Plutnicki then noted, “The condoms ran out. There must’ve been hundreds… The condoms were not used for sex, as far as I know.”

Player 301 continued, “The condoms were used to be rubbed on lips, and not in a fun way. After Red Light Green Light, everybody was out in the cold for so long, everybody’s lips were chapped for so long.”

Squid Game: The Challenge is based on the South Korean hit drama Squid Game and sees contestants perform in a series of challenges from the show in an attempt to win a large amount of money.
