The first trailer for Lupin and its second season has officially landed. You can see the first new glimpses of Assane’s struggle below. The show is one of Netflix’s most promising foreign language series and is beloved across the board.
Part two arrives in the summer amid a furore of anticipation. It will have five more episodes and will continue to keep up with Assane Diop as he bids to evade capture and seek revenge.
Lupin is one of the streaming platform’s stand out shows and has been widely loved by all who have witnessed it. The thriller follows Assane Diop, played by Omar Sy, a professional thief and the only son of a Senegalese immigrant who strived for a better life in France.
Assane’s father is framed for a devious crime by his employer and commits suicide because of it. The show then follows Assane, who is inspired by thief Arsene Lupin, attempting to find revenge on the family who pushed his father over the edge.
The official synopsis reads: “Assane’s quest for revenge against Hubert Pelligrini has torn his family to pieces. With his back to the wall, he now has to think of a new plan, even if it means putting himself in danger.”
