Having said that, what exactly is the story of The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity? In the quaint town of divided loyalties, two rival schools cast long shadows over the community: Chidori High, a round-around-the-edges boys’ school, and Kikyo Girls’ High, a bastion of privilege and polish. Against this tense backdrop, Rintarō Tsumugi, a Chidori student with a tough exterior and a heart of gold, forges a sweet connection with Kaoruko Waguri, a customer at his family’s patisserie.
Their fleeting encounters blossom into a tender bond, free from the judgmental gaze of others. But when Rintarō discovers Kaoruko is a student at Kikyo, their serene world is turned upside down. As they navigate the treacherous waters of their schools’ rivalry, Rintarō and Kaoruko must defy the societal scripts that threaten to entwine their destinies and forge their own path.
