Prince Harry gives emotional speech in new Netflix show trailer

The first teaser trailer for the latest Prince Harry and Meghan Markle project on Netflix has now been released, and it features the royal family member making an emotional confession about the importance of family.

The Heart of Invictus trailer will be available on Netflix on August 30th. It’s a docuseries about the people taking part in Prince Harry’s Invictus Games – the Paralympic-style competition for injured military servicepeople and veterans.

The docuseries was one of the first to be revealed after Meghan and Harry signed their deal with Netflix. However, it’s finally arriving on screens nearly three years after the deal was signed.

The first trailer opens with Harry delivering the speech that he gave at the beginning of the competition in Holland last year. Then we see clips of the competitors training for their events and talking about their experiences.

“If your goal was to make your country proud, you’ve done it,” Harry says in his speech. “If your goal was to make your family happy, you’ve achieved it. You are people of substance, of resilience, of strength; you have the heart of Invictus.”

The Sussexes signed their Netflix deal back in 2020, reportedly for $112 million, which led to their docuseries focusing on their private lives away from the rest of the royal family.
