‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man’ is coming to Netflix in 2026
If you think Netflix is only busy getting its ducks in a row for a banging farewell to 2025, you’re mistaken. The platform is currently taking ten steps ahead to ensure there’s no room for post-New Year’s blues in 2026, with Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man confirmed to land in March next year.
About a week ago, the uncertainty was paramount with the then-untitled Peaky Blinders movie.
But now, they can finally take a sigh of relief as Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is finally ready to bring back the gangland drama they have all waited for with bated breath.
The Immortal Man returns with Thomas Shelby, portrayed by Cillian Murphy, and the crew, four years after the series finale. And while they’re at it, viewers need to strap in for what’s described as a welcome to a new era.
“It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me. It is very gratifying to be re-collaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders. This is one for the fans,” Murphy told Netflix back in 2024 when the news was first announced for the movie’s development.
The Immortal Man, produced by Netflix in association with BBC Film, is set in 1940 Birmingham, when Thomas Shelby is “driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet. With the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must face his own demons and choose whether to confront his legacy or burn it to the ground. By the order of the Peaky Blinders…”
Speaking of the forthcoming chapter in the Peaky Blinders saga, Knight said, “The country is at war, and so, of course, are our Peaky Blinders. It will be an explosive chapter in the Peaky Blinders story. No holds barred. Full-on Peaky Blinders at war.”
While Murphy reprises his role as Tommy Shelby, the rest of the cast includes Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, Ian Peck, Jay Lycurgo, Barry Keoghan, and Stephen Graham. Although the role details remain under wraps, considering its early 2026 release, it won’t be long before fans get more updates on the same.
As for the release date, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is scheduled to hit select theatres on March 6th, 2026. It will be released on Netflix subsequently on March 20th, 2026. So, don’t miss it for the world!
