Paris Hilton is set to grace Netflix with a new cooking series dubbed very simply, Cooking With Paris.
According to an exclusive on Variety, Netflix has signed off on six half-hour episodes premiering on the streaming service from August 4th.
The premise of the show is not a star who has found a new passion as you might have thought, but rather that Paris Hilton doesn’t have a clue about anything culinary and is learning her way around the kitchen during the course of the series via the help of her food-savvy friends.
Variety reports that Netflix has stated, Hilton will embrace her “very newly domesticated side,” while she “learns to sauté, sear and zest,” and show off her “culinary expertise (or lack thereof), glam kitchen wardrobe and party-throwing skills with some of her fab celeb friends.”
The idea for the series is rooted in Hilton’s YouTube upload of the same name whereby over five million people have watched the make her first homemade lasagna.
Hilton will also take on the role of executive producer of the series along with the assistance of Aaron Saidman, Eli Holzman and Rebecca Hertz. The series will be made and distributed by Industrial Media and The Intellectual Property Corporation.
