Noah Schnapp has been working as a lifeguard this summer

The cast of Stranger Things aren’t too different from their fictional counterparts, with Noah Schnapp revealing that he’s been working as a lifeguard over the past summer.

Revealing the news in an interview with Flaunt, Schnapp stated that taking the job made him feel more like a normal teenager his age, rather than a top-billed actor. “It’s kind of a ‘just for fun thing,’” the actor told the publication, adding, “I’ve kind of grown up with a normal life and normal friends and stuff outside of Stranger Things, so it’s kind of kept me grounded”.

Schnapp recently revealed on TikTok that he will be attending the University of Pennsylvania to study business in the near future. Speaking about his decision in the interview, he added, “I was thinking of going for acting…Acting was just kind of repetitive, and I wanted to try something new”.

Speaking about her wider cast members in the show, he added, “Millie [Bobby Brown] is doing the same thing with her schooling – she’s kind of learning about other things”.

Recently completing season four of the show, Schnapp shined alongside his fellow cast members, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Winona Ryder and Maya Hawke.
