New ‘Peaky Blinders’ season 6 sees Stephen Graham clash with the Shelbys

Ahead of its much anticipated sixth season, Peaky Blinders has released a brand new teaser that is going to increase fan excitement by introducing the Slebys clashing with Stephen Graham.

Graham, who was said to be a part of the cast, is seen in a yet-to-be-disclosed role. The clip shows the Liverpudlian actor in character that is most likely on not-so-friendly terms with the Shelbys as seen in the teaser

Graham is known for his brilliant performances as Al Capone, the notorious gangster in Boardwalk Empire as well as his performance in Line of Duty and his starring role as Combo in the This Is England series.

In the video, Graham’s character said, “I hear there are some men here from Birmingham looking for me.” With a defined accent, Graham is seen in a pinstripe period costume as he faces Shelby.

Creator Stephen Knight was asked if they would incorporate Al Capone in the show back in 2019 and shut down the rumours instantly.

Speaking on the Obsessed With…Peaky Blinders podcast, Knight said, “I didn’t want to go west. Because it’s a minefield once you go into Chicago gangsters. I refer to him last series, but I didn’t want to go into that.”

The show released another teaser that contains a warning for Thomas Shelby where his sister and advisor Ada, played by Sophie Rundle, asks him to “take a good look” for “one of us isn’t gonna be here long.”

While the official date of release in 2022 has not yet been confirmed, take a look at the teaser below:
