Netflix’s 'Sex/Life' “shower guy” landed his next big film role

Adam Demos starred in Netflix’s Sex/Life as the attractive boyfriend, Brad Simons, to a married woman and became an overnight sensation for stripping down to his birthday suit in the shower.

And now, 36-year-old Demos has landed his next “big” role in a brand new film alongside Victoria Justice.

Said to be a Netflix rom-com, this yet-to-be-titled film will star the 28-year-old Justice as an ambitious wine-company executive who travels to an Australian sheep station for a business deal.

A budding romance shall ensue between her and the ruggedly handsome farmhand played by Demos as the former begins to help on the ranch.

The film will be shot in Queensland, providing an employment opportunity for nearly 120 locals, which is a big help during such trying times. Justice is currently quarantining in Sydney and sharing Instagram updates and will next be seen in the Netflix film Afterlife of the Party.

The film will be directed by Stuart McDonald, who is known for his brilliant work on Crazy Ex-girlfriends, based on a script by Elizabeth Hackett and Hilary Galanoy. Both the screenwriters are acquainted with Demos, having worked with him in the 2019 Netflix rom-com, Falling In Love, starring Christina Milian.

The film shall see the Australian actor make a return to his native land for the shooting schedule.

Queensland’s Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced the partnership by discussing how “this new Netflix film is the latest in a string of domestic and international productions continuing to fuel the state’s screen boom, which is critical to our economic growth recovery”. We are excited to see how the film makes use of the picturesque scenery.
