Netflix's 'Resident Evil' signs up 'John Wick' and 'Riverdale' stars

Netflix never messes about and the new Resident Evil reboot series is drafting in some serious cast members with new faces including Lance Reddick and Adeline Rudolph.

The two stars are familiar faces. Reddick took a role in the Keanu Reeves masterpiece John Wick, while Rudolph’s star turn in Riverdale won’t be forgotten.

The duo’s casting comes alongside the announcement that Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Paola Nuñez and Siena Agudong will also be joining the cast of the live-action series.

Developed from the wildly successful game series, the live-action reprisal will consist of eight hour-long episodes as a new outbreak of the T-virus, nearly three decades after its first appearance, will bring the Umbrella Corporation’s secrets to the fore.

So far, we don’t have much information as to which roles the aforementioned actors will pick up, except that Reddick will play the show’s villain Albert Wesker.

Characters for five of these six acting additions are being kept under wraps for the time being, but we do know that Reddick will play Albert Wesker.
