Netflix's 'Cobra Kai' season 4 teaser and premiere date revealed

The brand new teaser for Cobra Kai season 4 proclaims that the soul of the valley is on the line and fans can no longer stay calm about it.

A follow-up series to Karate Kid, Netflix’s Cobra Kai became quite the sensation upon its release, making subscribers witness the reincarnation of the age-old rivalry between William Zabka’s Johnny Lawrence and Ralph Macchio’s Daniel LaRusso. With a new cast that propels the story forward, the show has garnered a massive fan following and has a brilliant set of characters that help complement the riveting story.

The teaser for the fourth season takes one back to a familiar place to witness a brand new conflict. The third season had ended on a somewhat intriguing note with the two old foes and their forces, namely Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang dojo coming together to defeat Cobra Kai. The battle is supposed to happen at the All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament and the loser will have to, quite embarrassingly, hang up the gi.

With the fate of the valley on the line, season 4 shall probably explore more of the outcome as well as whether LaRusso and Lawrence will finally be able to move past their old differences to defeat the volatile Kreese lest Cobra Kai becomes the new pioneer of karate.

As the participants fasten their gis and tighten their belts proudly, preparing for the upcoming battle, Karate Kid antagonist Terry Silver is coming back to wreak havoc. Sporting a sinister ponytail, Thomas Ian Griffith shall be playing the role and assisting Kreese in his mission.

On their Instagram post, Cobra Kai released a moody shot of Silver in a crisp suit, sporting a sliver ponytail, promising the “real pain” to begin, as the voiceover says, “If a man can’t stand, he can’t fight. If a man can’t breathe, he can’t fight. If a man can’t see, he can’t fight. Extreme situations require extreme measures.”

However, despite the baddie’s intense comeback, Cobra Kai chief Joss Heald has promised a “good feeling” in the fourth run. While Netflix was quite tight-lipped about the release of season 4, they have recently revealed that the fourth season shall be streaming in December. Fans are eagerly waiting for the season, especially since Heald has promised a powerful package of “goosebumps”, “tears”, “belly laughs and fist bumps”.
