Netflix drops trailer for true-crime series 'The Puppet Master'

Netflix has a wide range of true-crime documentaries and series that have covered a variety of riveting and gruesome cases. Recently, the streaming giant dropped the official trailer for an upcoming docu-series titled The Puppet Master: Hunting the Ultimate Conman

Created by the team who produced the Netflix hit Don’t Fuck with Cats, the docuseries will record the gripping pursuit of an international con artist Robert Hendy-Freegard.

The man had claimed to be an undercover MI5 agent in the early 90s and scammed various people into giving him over $1.4 million over ten years.

Across three episodes, the docu-series will be a deep dive into the man’s historical background, 2005 conviction and more before talking about the present day where his family members fear for their mother’s safety.

The trailer itself sets the tone for a thrilling premise.

The docu-series is scheduled for a January 18th, 2022 premiere on Netflix.
