Netflix has already had epic success in introducing live-experience themed activities for fans of Stranger Things. Now, Bridgerton fans will be excited to know that they will soon get the golden opportunity to attend their own Regency-era themed gala next year.
The Queens Ball: A Bridgerton Experience will be a Regency-era themed ball with a live stringed quartet playing music pertinent to the series along with the actual characters from the show making an appearance. The attendees will have to follow the instructions of Lady Whistledown’s voice, who will guide them through the manners and etiquettes of the British high society. This will mainly premiere in early 2022 in four North American cities, namely Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C. and Montreal.
This one-of-a-kind experience is being co-produced by the executive producer Shona Rhimes’ company and the event tech company, Fever. Together, they want to create a fascinating and immersive gala that will help the show be the talk of the town far and beyond the release of its second season. Bridgerton is already one of Netflix’s most popular originals, and fans are already anticipating the arrival of this event.
Greg Lombardo, who heads the department of Experiences at Netflix, spoke of how they are trying to recreate the beauty and perfection of the series in this experience. He expressed their desire “to create a similarly unique fan experience designed to immerse attendees in the lavish world of Bridgerton and bring this world to them wherever they are.”
Netflix has a set of various other experiences planned for this universe owing to its immense popularity. Bridgerton is yet to premiere its second season but has already been renewed for a third and fourth season.
Tickets, priced at $49, will be up for sale on September 16. However, Netflix has advised fans to sign up for the waitlist to stay updated with all the new information. Following the coronavirus pandemic, Netflix has been adhering to strict protocols for the safety of the people. This in-person event will most likely follow the same sanitary precautions and guidelines.
