Netflix teases bizarre furry-based dating show ‘Sexy Beasts’

For those searching for Sexy Beast the brilliantly brutal London gangster starring Sir Ben Kingsley, you have certainly come to the wrong place.

Sexy Beasts is the new Netflix dating show that sees contestants don bizarre furry outfits in a prosthetic based search for the true importance of looks – it is the fox within that these mad outfits are trying to unmask.

The show will be narrated by Rob Delaney as dolphins are paired with werewolves in swanky cocktail bars and the devil goes on a dinner date with some sort of daemon beast.

If this madcap creation that adds a whole new twist to the term ‘blind date’ sounds like your cup of tea, then you’ll be able to catch the premiere from July 21st

Netflix has described the show as being a mix between The Masked Singer and Love Is Blind, promising “to put true blind-date chemistry to the test.” Two seasons have been commissioned by the streaming service.

“The viewers are in for a real treat,” Simon Welton, creator and executive producer, told Variety. ”I hope the show puts a smile on peoples’ faces as they play along to discover who’ll fall in love with who and what our cast all really look like.”

You can check out the trailer, for what looks like some sort of dystopian reimagining of the future, below.
