Netflix orders new Christmas film, 'Christmas in Wonderland'

With the festive season fast approaching, Netflix has decided to add to its burgeoning collection of Christmas content by ordering a new Christmas film, titled Christmas in Wonderland.

After hits like A Christmas Prince, Klaus and The Christmas Chronicles adorning its cyber shelves and adding to the Yuletide cheer, Netflix has decided to order this upcoming film that will commence filming in Utah in November this year.

Since there already exists a 2007 film called Christmas in Wonderland by James Orr, the title is subject to change.

According to the Netflix reports, the film will drive in the usual holiday ideas of kindness, compassion, hope and love when a skiing accident causes Sierra to have amnesia and later be taken in by a single father who reinstills hope and faith in her life.

Although the cast details have not yet been revealed, it is said that David Wulf will be headlining the project via his production company WulfPak Productions.

Wulf’s company is famous for its work in the 2020 film The Night Clerk while Wulf himself has been involved with a series of Christmas films such as Christmas Tree Lane, Holly & Ivy, Love, Fall & Order and Christmas in Vienna.

Production is scheduled to commence on November 8, 2021, and will wrap up by December 15, 2021, being shot in Salt Lake City, Utah.

2021 has a lot in store for Christmas cheer with Netflix bringing to us films like The Princess Switch 3, A Castle for Christmas and Robin Robin.
