Netflix is now home to the WWE library in the US
Believe it or not, Netflix takes new beginnings pretty seriously. Now that we’re well into the first week of 2026, Netflix has become the home of the WWE library in the US, meaning this partnership is officially one for the books.
According to an exclusive Variety report, this non-exclusive deal strengthens and expands the existing alliance between Netflix and WWE, which launched in January 2025.
This also means that every WWE premium live event from before September 2025, including WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble, is now immediately available on the platform. Besides this, Netflix is set to stream WWE documentaries and other original programming.
The news arrives right ahead of the January 20 premiere of WWE Unreal’s second season. The official logline reads, “Wild plot twists. Larger-than-life personas. And a whole lot of drama. Go behind the scenes with the biggest Superstars and back into the writer’s room on the road to SummerSlam.”
For those unfamiliar, the docu-series originally debuted in July 2025 with five episodes. Skydance Sports, NFL Films, Omaha Productions and WWE serve as producers.
While the library agreement is non-exclusive, Netflix does hold exclusive rights to host WWE’s flagship weekly show, Monday Night Raw, in the US, Canada, the UK, and Latin America. With time, more territories are expected to be added.
Following its debut last January, Raw: 2025 was met with a thunderous reception and immediate chart success on Netflix. Even now, it holds at least one position in the top ten most popular English-language shows chart almost every week. All the episodes from the last year are available for streaming on Netflix now, and just in case you’re out of the loop, Raw: 2026 has already kicked off.
WWE, which is a part of TKO Group Holdings, unleashes wrestling content literally every week of the year, as most of you must be familiar with. But in addition to Netflix, it has various other high-profile distribution partners, including ESPN, NBCUniversal, USA Network, and the CW.
WWE is undoubtedly part of Netflix’s expansive variety of sports content, which includes major deals with the NFL, MLB, the Women’s World Cup, and more. So, it goes without saying that the WWE library’s availability in the US is nothing less than welcome news.
