Netflix are making improvements to their My List section so that it will become easier for users to find and sort through the TV programmes and films that they have bookmarked so far. Subscribers will soon be able to filter their My List with options like “Haven’t Started” and “Started”.
There will also be options available such as sorting titles by when a user added it to their list, the title’s release date, as well as standard alphabetical order. The new sorting options will hopefully make it far easier for those will several titles clogging up their list to get through those that they want to watch the most.
The new options will be rolled out on Android first, which will arrive next Monday (May 29th), and in the next couple of weeks, they will be released on iOS. In addition to the My List improvements, Netflix are also adding a “Coming Soon” feature to the home screen of their app.
This will, of course, be a handy tool to have in order to learn which shows and movies will be arriving on the platform and when. Users will be able to set a reminder for when those shows and films are released, making Netflix a more user-friendly experience all around.
