Netflix drops teaser trailer for Lost in Space Season 3

Netflix’s Lost in Space is going to launch its third and final mission on December 1, 2021, according to the recent updates provided by Netflix. Not only did the streamer release a bunch of first look pictures but also reveal the teaser trailer and the release date.

Created by Zack Estrin, the cast includes Molly Parker, Toby Stephens, Mina Sundwall, Maxwell Jenkins, Ignacio Serricchio, Parker Posy and Taylor Russell. Russell Hornby has also joined the sci-fi drama in an unnamed role.

The series is basically a reboot of the classic sci-fi series from the 1960s where space colonization becomes a reality three decades into the future. The Robinson family has been selected to be a part of this mission where they will envision a better future for themselves.

However, they soon lose the correct route and find themselves getting lost in adverse situations where they must forge new friendships and alliances to work in tandem and survive amidst hostile conditions.

Estrin revealed how “from the beginning” the story of the Robinson family has served as the crux of the trilogy.

“A three-part epic family adventure with a clear beginning, middle, and end. It’s also worth noting that, with what these characters go through just trying to survive each episode — if anyone deserves to catch their breath before their next mission — it’s Will, Penny, Judy, Maureen, John, Don West, Dr. Smith… and The Robot. And, of course, Debbie the Chicken,” he revealed.

He added: “So while this chapter of Lost In Space is coming to a rousing conclusion, I’m excited about continuing to explore new stories with my friends at Netflix, and for all of the incredible possibilities that lie ahead.”
