Netflix drops official trailer for ‘Emily in Paris’ season 2

Netflix has dropped the official trailer for Emily in Paris season 2 after months of keeping the fans on their toes as they yearned to see the cute, ditzy Emily- an utter embarrassment to the Americans- saunter through her daily life in France.

One of Netflix’s most-watched romantic comedies in 2020, the second season is slated for a December 22nd, 2021 release on the streaming platform.

After a fantastic run in the first season that saw Emily trying to deal with language and cultural barriers while juggling various romantic complications being hurled her way. The second season will most likely, according to the trailer, focus on Emily’s life getting even more complicated.

The second season will see Emily caught in a love triangle between her neighbour Gabriel and his ex-girlfriend Camille. She will most likely be tired of lying to Camille about her obvious attraction to Gabrielle while dealing with other issues in her life.

Emily will get to explore her sexuality as well as share some intimate moments with her classmate in a French class, an infuriating British banker who has an aversion to all things French.

Emily will be seen lamenting over how she is no longer as decisive as she used to be back in the States when her boss Sylvie replies with an iconic: “Oh Emily, you’re getting more French by the day!”

Starring Lily Collins, Lucas Bravo, Ashley Park, William Abadie, Samuel Arnold, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Camille Razat and Bruno Gouery, the release of the official trailer with its beautiful visuals and aesthetics have sent the fans into a state of frenzy.

Helmed by creator Darren Star, the show will feature new actors like Jeremy O. Harris, Arnaud Binarde and Lucien Laviscount.
