Netflix drops 'NASCAR: Full Speed' trailer

Netflix has released its first trailer for the upcoming documentary series, NASCAR: Full Speed.

Centring on the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs and the 16 contenders competing for the Cup Series championship, NASCAR: Full Speed immerses viewers in the core of the excitement as postseason events unravel both on and off the racing circuit, encapsulating the fervour of the NASCAR Playoffs.

Led by drivers like Ryan Blaney, Denny Hamlin, William Byron, and Tyler Reddick, the series unveils the intricacies of drivers’ personal narratives, the sacrifices they make, and their aspirations for victory in each episode.

Diving deep into the Playoffs, NASCAR: Full Speed offers a compelling examination of the human spirit in high-pressure scenarios, the strategic brilliance needed to navigate the playoffs, and the unwavering pursuit of championship glory.

Netflix has been increasing its sporting content as of late, having recently broadcasted its first ever live sporting event from Wynn, Las Vegas.

Last year, the streaming giant hosted the Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix and launched The Netflix Cup in celebration, which featured athletes from Formula 1: Drive to Survive and Full Swing.

Gabe Spitzer, Vice President of Nonfiction Sports at Netflix, said at the time: “We love to see how our sports series have brought increased fandom to sports leagues and competitions all over the world,” adding, “The Netflix Cup will take that energy to the next level with global stars from two popular hits competing in our first-ever live sports event.”

NASCAR: Full Speed is set to debut on Netflix on January 30, 2024. Watch the full trailer below.
