Netflix adds 63 exciting new movies to the platform

To mark the start of the autumn months, Netflix has added a raft of different movies to its catalogue to keep viewers happy and offer them more than enough material to hunker down with. On October 1st, the streaming giant uploaded 63 new titles, ranging from classic blockbusters to more recent critical hits.

One of the most notable offerings is Denis Villeneuve’s 2021 effort Dune, the first part of his big-budget retelling of Frank Herbert’s epic science fiction novel. Featuring an extensive ensemble cast, it stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista and many more. Boasting jaw-dropping cinematography and a score by Hans Zimmer, this one is not to be missed.

Elsewhere, the hit Steven Spielberg World War Two blockbuster, Saving Private Ryan, is also now on Netflix. Set in France in 1944, towards the end of the conflict, it follows a group of soldiers led by Tom Hanks’ Captain John Miller on a mission to bring home Matt Damon’s Private Ryan after his brothers are all killed in action. It also stars Tom Sizemore, Barry Pepper, Giovanni Ribisi, Vin Diesel, Adam Goldberg and Jeremy Davies.

Other titles now available to stream include Gladiator, Hot Tub Time Machine, Kushi, Love Actually, Megamind, Mission: Impossible, Sex and the City: The Movie and The Many Saints of Newark.
