‘My Life with the Walter Boys’ season 3 ending explained: Are Jackie and Eliot now together?

My Life with Walter Boys returned on Netflix with its third season and left viewers on a major cliffhanger yet again. While the season was always supposed to be explosive, given how the show left things off in the season two finale, fans probably didn’t expect a blow this big.

The third season of the teen romantic drama opens with Cole, Jackie, and Alex trying to figure out their new reality, only to find themselves warped in tragedy, heartache, and moments of blossoming romance. Although the crumbs will definitely trickle down into the follow-up season, the arc is directly borrowed from the show’s pattern of trauma.

With Cole swapping football fields for racing tracks and Alex throwing his energy into his new rodeo riding team, Jackie is busy this season with community building. But since the past has a unique way of haunting these characters time and again, Jackie finds herself torn between her new life in Silver Falls and his childhood friend, Eliot.

Thanks to Eliot, Cole’s relationship with Jackie faces a major setback, as he quietly convinces him to push her away, suggesting that a small-town mechanic with no concrete plans cannot exactly give her the future she deserves. Eliot rightly hits Cole’s insecurity, resulting in the heartbreak that was not on the audience’s bingo cards. So, does that mean Jackie ends up with Eliot?

Are Jackie and Eliot together by the end of My Life with the Walter Boys season 3?

Although Cole has a sense of clarity by the finale of My Life with the Walter Boys season three, when Jackie sends him a thank-you message, his urge to find her immediately ends badly. Danvers runs him off the road, causing Cole to crash, and the series doesn’t answer whether he’s alright. Meanwhile, Jackie has absolutely no clue that her text led to a series of events, including his accident.

To make things worse, just as the tragedy unfolds, Eliot kisses Jackie. And yes, that’s a shocker for everyone who was rooting for Jackie and Cole this season.

But if you’re curious about whether they end up together, well, the answer is no, at least, not in the third season. During the season finale, Jackie is primarily occupied with the community centre’s inauguration, and she makes it a mission not to think about Cole. However, Eliot steps in and whisks her away for a slow dance, which culminates with a kiss that Jackie and viewers simply didn’t see coming.

Netflix decided to pull the curtain right then, leaving the audience without answers about Jackie’s reaction. While there may be some chemistry brewing, it’s way too early to say for sure what awaits the duo, especially after the string of shocks that arrived this season.
