Is ‘My Life with the Walter Boys’ returning for a fourth season?
Did you really expect Netflix to pull the plug on My Life with the Walter Boys with its third season, especially after that shocking season finale? Well, you clearly expected wrong!
The fan-favourite guilty pleasure returned to answer the questions it left hanging in season two, but left viewers with more questions than they began with.
The third season of the romantic teen drama, My Life with the Walter Boys, opens right where the sophomore season left off, when Alex overheard Cole and Jackie’s confession and George ended up in the hospital after suffering a massive stroke. As George recovers back at home this season, Cole trades his football skills for racing, and Alex throws himself into his new rodeo team.
As for Jackie? While she’s totally invested in community building, she also finds herself increasingly torn between her life in Silver Falls and her past, when her childhood friend Eliot shows up. Well, to be fair, Eliot doesn’t just show up; he turns every dynamic upside down, even convincing Cole that he’s not good enough for Jackie.
While the season concludes with a kiss we didn’t see coming, what also leaves fans at a loss is the tragedy that strikes at the nth hour. So, with all those cliffhangers, it only makes sense for the show to return, right?
Lucky for us, Netflix already renewed My Life with the Walter Boys for a fourth season in May before the third season could even premiere.
In a conversation with Tudum, showrunner and executive producer Melanie Halsall said, “I know I speak for the writers, the cast, and the crew when I say that it is beyond exciting to be returning to the world of Silver Falls for a fourth season. We are all incredibly grateful and are thrilled to dive in.”
My Life with the Walter Boys is confirmed to return sometime in 2027, and the fourth season is already in production, although the release window remains under wraps. But season four is expected to address quite a few burning questions about whether Cole is fine, what happens to Eliot and Jackie, and of course, what’s up with Alex?
