Millie Bobby Brown on what she hates about filming 'Stranger Things'

Millie Bobby Brown is undoubtedly the breakout star from Netflix original series Stranger Things. Channelling her illuminating role as the Eleven, the kid with superpowers who has saved the town of Hawkins on more than one occasion, Brown has found herself in the limelight and picking up some serious roles.

But while Stranger Things has offered the actor professional opportunities, appearing the wildly successful show does have its downsides too. In a recent social media post, Brown opened up about what depresses her during filming for the landmark series — her look.

Speaking during a break from filming the new series, Brown said: “I’m filming Stranger Things, we’re in the middle of filming right now, and right now, I’m in Georgia,” but neglected to share any information about the show itself. Instead, she revealed how difficult it is to be a 17-year-old girl in Hawkins.

“Now I really like high-waisted jeans, cropped tops, a cool jacket and Air Force 1,” she said, showing off her growing fashion knowledge and the impact Eleven has had on her life. But there’s one character trait of Eleven’s that cannot be changed — her nails.

“It is so depressing. Because I love doing my nails; it’s one of my favourite things to do,” she continued. “Personally, I feel like it’s my time to find cool stuff and join the beauty trends. But yeah, while filming, I can’t have nails at all. Most of my characters don’t.”

We still await the latest series of Stranger Things but you can get a little excited with the trailer below.
