Michelle Keegan didn't want to swear in front of Joanna Lumley on 'Fool Me Once'

British actor Michelle Keegan has admitted that she found it difficult to use coarse language when making the new Netflix series Fool Me Once, in which she stars alongside Joanna Lumley.

Keegan has said that she was embarrassed to use rude words when she was rehearsing with Lumley, whom Keegan seems to look up to with inspiration.

“When I read the script, I was like, ‘Oh no,'” Keegan said when talking on The One Show. “I remember on set we had a bit of a laugh, and I don’t think I said it when we were in rehearsals. I was like, ‘I can’t.'”

Fool Me Once sees Keegan play a widowed wife to a murdered husband, who is suddenly spotted on her nanny cam, leading to an intense search for answers.

Keegan was able to fly a helicopter during production and spoke about the experience on the show. “I flew it,” she said. “We were filming the scene of going over the forest. It was me, the cameraman and the pilot behind, so we had to get all the shots done, or we would never get the chance again.”

The actor added, “I remember taking off, and it was a glass-bottom helicopter. It was awful. When we got half -ay there, the pilot said do you want to take over, take control? And I was like, ‘Go on then.'”
