Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton to team up for Netflix show

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had signed a whopping $100 million multi-year deal with Netflix in September 2020, months after receiving much flak and criticism for stepping down from their official royal duties. The couple’s company, Archwell production, aims at producing a great variety of Netflix content that include films, documentaries, series and children’s programme.

It has now been reported that the Suits actress and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton are set to team up for an upcoming Netflix show.

Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has reportedly reached out to her sister-in-law to discuss the venture that shall mainly focus on Middleton’s incredible contribution and participation in charity work ever since she became a part of the royal family. Insider reports state that they have been talking “a lot more” now as the duo try and figure out how to start off with the Netflix project.

Despite various rumours and controversies surrounding their reportedly strained relationship, an insider revealed to US Weekly that the two have been “getting along really well and have been in touch more often”.

They further stated how excited Markle was to “spotlight” Kate’s brilliant contribution as well as the “huge impact she’s made with her philanthropy”.

It is quite surprising to see Kate, 39, agree to be the centre of attention in a show given how private and guarded she is about her life. However, she is allegedly “flattered” by Meghan’s proposition and looks forward to offering an insight into her daily activities.

Well, thank Netflix for making everything stay well, “positive” and dandy between the two!
