Meet three major faces joining ‘Ginny & Georgia’ season 4

Wellsbury is about to lose its mind again, and it is exactly what we signed up for. Ginny & Georgia season four is coming in hot with three new faces, because clearly the Millers didn’t have enough to deal with already.

Netflix just confirmed Ali Skovbye, Kataem O’Connor, and Sunny Mabrey are joining the cast, and that sound you hear is every fan collectively losing it.

If you have seen this show, you already know new people in Wellsbury have a complicated relationship with peace. They love drama and emotional instability. There has to be at least one breakdown every season, which the showmakers disguise as a heart-to-heart. Which, to be fair, is why Ginny & Georgia remains elite comfort television because it never lets anyone rest for too long.

Now, coming to the new cast members added, let’s talk about them one by one. Starting with Ali Skovbye, who is joining the plot as Rainn, and that name alone is enough to tell you that she is not here to blend in with the rest. If you can’t place her, she was fantastic in Firefly Lane.

After her, we have Kataem O’Connor, from The Way Home and Murdoch Mysteries, who is going to play Isaiah, and this time, he is half as complex as his past roles; Wellsbury better prepare for impact. And then we have Sunny Mabrey as Daisy, whose name sounds harmless, which in this universe practically guarantees she is bringing trouble.

Production is already underway, which means Georgia is out there lying beautifully again while Ginny is trying to be emotionally stable. And Austin, well, he looks like he is deep in his lone-wolf era. The Millers are still broke, and Georgia is pregnant while not being entirely sure who the father is. On the other hand, Ginny is stuck between therapy breakthroughs and teenage rebellion. It is messed up, and that is exactly why the show keeps working.

Creator Sarah Lampert called this season’s theme “Cycles and Origins”, which feels quite poetic. But at the same time, it also sounds like a warning label because when it comes to Ginny & Georgia, you can never tell. Georgia keeps trying to outrun her mistakes, Ginny keeps repeating hers, and every time they promise to change, someone does something insane before they take that step.

The best thing about Ginny & Georgia is how it hides heavy emotional truths inside a pure teen TV show. The show is funny and dramatic, sure, but it is also heartbreak in the form of gossip in a small town. And now, with three new characters walking straight into that storm, it’s safe to assume nothing will stay peaceful for more than a single scene.

Wellsbury is about to implode, and we are absolutely going to love watching it happen.
