‘Love Is Blind’ confirms season 3 with season 2 Netflix debut

Netflix’s speed-dating show Love Is Blind has recently dropped the second season and has subsequently confirmed the arrival of a third, much to the delight of fans.

The show, directed by Brian Smith and Timothy Baker, sees a bunch of single people vying for love, signing up for romantic rendezvous. With elements of modern dating, they are a part of an “experiment” where the producers try to find out if they can indeed fall in love without meeting each other.

The two seasons have gathered quite the fan following with melodrama, tension, and reality soap opera-like conflicts.

Creator Chirs Coelen recently confirmed the news of an upcoming season three that has reportedly been filmed. He said, “Every season is totally unique. Season three is a very different being than either season one or season two.” As of now, Coelen is “excited” for viewers to “see season two” and “enjoy it”.

The couples on the ten-week experiment on the second season of the show in Chicago, Illinois, includes Danielle and Nick, Natalie and Shyane, Deepti and Abhishek, Mallory and Salvador, Shaina and Kyle, Iyanna and Jarrette, among others.

Talking about the new season, Coelen admitted that the outcomes do not live up to his expectations more often than not. However, he talked about how the experiment is as exhilarating and “crazy” as a “live sporting event”.

Talking about how it is a “very interesting finale”, the creator used heavyweight adjectives, including “unpredictable”, “tense”, “emotional”, “heartbreaking” and “cathartic”, to describe the show.

Love Is Blind seasons one and two are now streaming on Netflix.
