Jeremy Grealick's Netflix 'Murder Mystery' sequel with Adam Sandler

Remember that hilarious Netflix comedy that saw Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler playing the dysfunctional couple who board a billionaire’s yacht and soon get framed for murder? That’s Murder Mystery for you and yes, you read that right; the film is finally getting a sequel!

Directed by Jeremy Garelick, who is set to direct the sequel, the script will be written by James Vanderbilt and worked on by Garelick. The fast-paced film is due to be shot in the Caribbean and Paris.

Garelick is well-known for his other comedy flicks, including the Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn-starrer 2006 film The Break-Up as well as The Wedding Ringer, starring Josh Gad and Kevin Hart.

Known for directing fun and provocative teen comedies, Garelick has recently also worked on Vince Vaughn’s The Binge as well as Big Time Adolescence that starred Pete Davidson.

While Aniston and Sandler are yet to comment on the same, it is speculated that they shall most definitely make a return to reprise their roles in the comedy that reeks of mindless humour and fun.

The film has performed very well on the streaming platform, breaking streaming records with nearly 30 million streams within the first three days of release.

Sandler is currently in works with Carey Mulligan on a serious drama film Spaceman that is also set to release on Netflix.
