Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers have a happy ‘Wednesday’ reunion at Golden Globes party

Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers were the odd couple that made Wednesday soar its way to the top. So, it’s no wonder that they had a ball when they were reunited at Netflix’s Golden Globe party over the weekend.

The two actors play Wednesday Addams and Enid Sinclair respectively in the series. They attended Netflix’s awards season toast and were evidently in fine form as they celebrated starring in the biggest new show of the year.

Wednesday has been nominated for Best Television Series in the Musical or Comedy category at the forthcoming Golden Globes bash. If it was merely a popularity contest, then the show would already have romped home.

Ortega has also received a personal nod with a nomination in the Best Performance by An Actress In A Television Series – Musical or Comedy category.

The 20-year-old will be hoping to kickstart her career with some critical acclaim but faces tough competition from shows like White Lotus. All that being said, if there is one aspect where Wednesday has truly succeeded then it is asserting the notion of TV as good old-fashioned fun, and that esteemed even makes awards look vapid.

At the party, this sense of joy shone through as Ortega dressed in a Wednesday-esque school uniform-like attire and posed for pictures with Myers alongside Netflix CEO, Ted Sarandos. He’ll be hoping his prized series can secure a win.
