Jane Fonda has now found herself in a vibrator wonderland with various vibrators sent her way by Grace and Frankie fans following a particular scene in the Netflix comedy series.
Created by Marta Kauffman, the show features Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as the titular characters who forge an unlikely friendship when their respective husbands’ exit the closet, fall in love and get married. After seven seasons of Grace and Frankie’s fun escapades filled with friendship, frolic and laughter, the show ends.
Ahead of the release of the show’s final episodes this Friday, Fonda and Tomlin have appeared in a retrospective featurette titled Grace and Frankie: A Farewell to 7 Seasons with Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, released by Netflix on YouTube. The two-time Oscar winner has opened up about considerate and loving fans sending her vibrators following a particular storyline in the episode.
In the third season, the dynamic duo are seen launching a successful vibrator line that aims to pleasure ageing women. This led to fans sending her a multitude of vibrators and sex toys for Christmas.
The 84-year-old is admittedly “a big fan of vibrators”. She even revealed that the “drawer next to my bed” is filled with such gifts.
The duo had also started a personal lubricant made from yams and a hydraulic-assisted toilet seat to help ageing people in the bathroom. The Emmy-nominated show has touched a chord with viewers worldwide due to the brilliant ways it deals with ageing, friendship, loyalty and more.
The final batch of episodes will also feature their ex-husbands, played by Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston, and their kids, portrayed by Ethan Embry, Brooklyn Decker, Baron Vaughn and June Diane Raphael.
Grace and Frankie 7B will release on April 29th, 2022.
