Is ‘The Belko Experiment’ streaming on Netflix?

Greg McLean’s 2016 horror film The Belko Experiment has quite recently gone viral on TikTok thanks to its unsettling and sinister premise. It’s got viewers going crazy trying to figure out whether the streaming service, Netflix offers the film. Sadly, they do not.

Although The Belko Experiment is currently not available on Netflix, one can stream it on Hulu. The premise of the film is quite horrifying and embedded in realistic fears that have shocked viewers and caused many sleepless nights.

It includes a terrifying night where eighty employees are confined in a Colombian office building. They have to play a sinister game where a voice over the intercom directs them and informs them that they must either kill or be killed.

Written by James Gunn, popular for his works like The Suicide Squad and Guardians of the Galaxy, the film stars Tony Goldwyn, John Gallagher Jr., Adria Arjona, Sean Gunn, David Dastmalchian and Michael Rooker.

The film is actually a brilliant satirical commentary on the corporate culture where the soul-crushing competition and the struggle for survival are only meant for the richest and fittest. It is engaging and definitely worth the watch.

If you enjoy watching films that involve such an epic and riveting game of survival, complimented by blood, gore and mindless violence, make sure to check out Netflix’s new Korean film Squid Game that releases this Friday, September 17, 2021.
