Is ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ planning a concert tour? Here’s what the buzz is about

Hot on the heels of its ‘Golden’ night at the Oscars, Netflix’s award-winning KPop Demon Hunters is once again back on the buzz radar for a new reason.

According to a new Bloomberg report, Netflix Inc. is getting its ducks in a row for a KPop Demon Hunters world tour now that it has officially entered its sequel era. Negotiations are ongoing with concert promoters to stage a live program featuring performances of the film tracks, which made Billboard history and became a cultural phenomenon.

The plan is to hold the KPop Demon Hunters concert around the globe next year, ahead of the sequel to the animated fantasy film about a K-pop group of girls living double lives as secret demon slayers.

The parties involved have had lengthy discussions about the tour, which would stop in dozens of major cities, with shows designed for arenas that can accommodate 10,000 to 20,000 fans, said sources. Although the exact details are being worked out, the tour may not happen, after all, if Netflix fails to decide on the creative aspects or if it turns out to be too expensive.

That said, Netflix hasn’t chosen a promoter, but has reportedly been offered tens of millions of dollars in guarantees, according to the tabloid, citing insiders.

Thanks to the monumental success of KPop Demon Hunters, numerous business opportunities have followed for Netflix, including theatrical distribution and partnering with toy businesses for consumer products. As the most-watched film of all time on Netflix, the animated movie has shown no limitations in any aspect. And if the tour materialises, it would be a complete dream-come-true announcement.

Plus, everyone knows how pivotal the music was for KPop Demon Hunter’s success. According to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, the soundtrack was the third-best-selling album in the world in 2025. In addition to that, the Oscar-winning lead single, ‘Golden,’ also bagged a Grammy, becoming the first K-pop song to win both.

Since the reports are still not confirmed, it’s hard to say who might perform if it happens. But then again, the movie features two groups: HUNTR/X and the Saja Boys, voiced by the trio of EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Remi Ami. Netflix has reportedly discussed bringing them together on the tour, but has also considered using only virtual performers.

While there’s nothing the fans would love more than to have a KPop Demon Hunters world tour turn into reality, only time will tell if there’s actually such a possibility. Until then, stay tuned for more updates!
