Here’s how you can save your favourite scenes on Netflix

Netflix isn’t just raining with content. It’s thinking about you, too. Again, not just in terms of entertainment, but also in how you can make the most of those.

Last year, Netflix made a game-changing move with the introduction of ‘Moments’, a curated feature for mobiles that lets viewers save and share the scenes that are etched in their minds from their favourite shows. Whether it’s Wednesday Addams’ hit dance at the Rave’N or Saja Boys’ debut track, ‘Soda Pop’, from KPop Demon Hunters.

The step didn’t just make the audience feel relieved, but it also allowed them to relive the magic for the second, third, and nth time. But when the platform most recently dropped Wednesday‘s second season, by which we mean part two, on September 3rd, they renewed their fan-centric devotion.

According to Tudum, Wednesday didn’t just bring death, gore, and Addams family drama this time. With it came an exclusive new update that makes saving your favourite moments way more fun. Now, audiences can save a scene by marking a starting and ending point and save it as clips they can return to later, or simply share with friends and family, no holds barred.

Sure, Netflix doesn’t believe in screenshots. But it clearly believes in giving fans more than they want. And not many can contest that saving a scene is far more interesting than capturing just one shot. So, for those curious about how to do it, mobile users can tap the “clip” button when they reach a sequence they definitely want to save for later.

Once they click it, there will be options to adjust the length. Subscribers are free to save scenes no matter how long or short; there’s no bar on it. When you’re done, the clip gets automatically saved in their “My Netflix” catalogues. You can return, rewatch, and even share them whenever you feel like.

While this eliminates the YouTube-scouring for favourite scenes, this feature also excuses viewers from having to remind themselves of the timestamps of their most cherished shows and episodes. So, in case you’re still turning to old ways, Netflix has sorted the entertainment experience just for you.
