Fans of the Harry Potter film franchise are wasting no time in getting their wizarding fix following the movies’ arrival on Netflix UK. The Harry Potter films, based on the books by author J. K. Rowling, are absolutely dominating the top ten charts on the streaming service after only being available for viewing for less than a week.
The fantasy films arrived on Netflix in the UK and Ireland for the first time on 17th May, giving wannabe wizards and witches the ability to watch each of them on one service. Meanwhile, over in the United States, Potter fans can watch the movies on the Max streaming platform.
In the UK and Ireland, though, Potter heads haven’t rested on their laurels and have been enjoying the films on Netflix. In fact, each of the eight films in the franchise is currently found in the top ten most-watched films on the streaming service for the UK.
It looks as though fans are also watching the Potter movies in order too, as the first film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, is currently in the top position, while the final movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part Two, at the moment sits in tenth place, behind its predecessors.
