Harry and Meghan reportedly backtrack on Netflix series to reconcile position with Royal Family

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly backtracking on an explosive Netflix series and memoir deal in order to patch up their position with the Royal Family. According to reports, they have had a change of heart and wish to reconcile their differences.

It has been reported that Prince Harry and Markle thought that the docuseries and memoir were potentially critical and damaging to the reputations of King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla. Thus, they have u-turned on the move in order to avoid any upset.

This news came to light when it was confirmed that the couple ended their relationship with the PR firm Sunshine Sachs who were dealing with the proposed memoir and docuseries. It was believed that this move is a sign of goodwill between them and the Royal Family

Prince Harry had previously opened up on the planned tell-all, stating: “I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story-the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned-I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.”

However, there has apparently been a change of tact, and now it is being reported that “a year of reconciliation” is the new PR approach. Therefore, we sadly won’t see what they had to say in the Netflix series.

As of yet, Netflix are yet to comment on the cancellation.
