Netflix have got us all giddy by surprise releasing the first four episodes of Grace and Frankie season seven, ahead of it being released in full by the end of 2022.
The longest-running comedy programme in Netflix history, Grace and Frankie was given an extended final season. It’s been a slow process moving the series along thanks to the global pandemic.
Filming on season seven of Grace and Frankie began with Covid-19 restrictions in place back in June 2021.
The final season will consist of 16 episodes, extending the final season and keeping the good times rolling. That means in addition to the four dropped now, we also have 12 more to follow.
In a statement released by Netflix, they said: “It’s been quite the year and a half, and we could all use a duo like Grace and Frankie in our lives right about now. So, as a treat, Jane and Lily are giving you the first four episodes of the seventh and final season of Grace and Frankie.”
Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin went on to Twitter to announce the show’s surprise episodes.
