Five Netflix releases to keep an eye out for this week

March has been nothing less than a victory lap for subscribers, with Netflix rolling out exciting new content left and right. But if you think that streaming aura is a first-week exclusive, you’re probably not ready for what’s to come this time around.

After leaving viewers scrambling last week with an arrival arc that speaks for itself, Netflix is once again back to keep their hands and hearts full.

While it’s totally understandable if most of you are still busy with titles Netflix dropped right at the beginning of March, it’s about time that you make some room for what’s about to be unleashed throughout this week.

So, for those curious about what to watch next on streaming, here are five Netflix releases to keep an eye out for this week.

Five Netflix releases to watch out for this week

ONE PIECE (Matt Owens and Steven Maeda, 2023-Present)

The second season of the hit live-action series, titled ONE PIECE: Into the Grand Line, is ready to sail onto Netflix on March 10th. Get those life jackets on because this time the journey is going to get bigger and better! According to the official synopsis provided by Netflix for the upcoming instalment, ONE PIECE will return with far more fearsome adversaries as Luffy and the Straw Hats head towards the extraordinary Grand Line.

While wonder awaits with danger too, as they journey through this perilous space to get their hands on the world’s greatest treasure, with the arrival of formidable new enemies, fans will also find themselves traversing through bizarre new islands. ONE PIECE: Into the Grand Line is also expected to introduce the audience to some of the favourite characters, including the beloved reindeer-boy hybrid Tony Tony Chopper. So, better be present for this!

Virgin River (Sue Tenney and Patrick Sean Smith, 2019-Present)

The fan-favourite romantic drama Virgin River is all set to return on Netflix with its seventh season this week, on March 12th, and all we really hope is that you’re ready for the next chapter. While the sixth season was all about the buildup to Mel and Jack’s nuptials, the second season will focus on their honeymoon period as they navigate their lives on the farm as newlyweds.

Then again, just because Mel and Jack are enjoying marital bliss, it doesn’t mean they won’t face hurdles on the way. Although that might put some strain on fans’ brains, of course, they may not worry about their relationship. Plus, considering several more love stories are blossoming at the heart of Virgin River, there’s way more to look forward to than you can imagine. So, mark your calendars and save the date before the spoilers come haunting your way.

Dynasty: The Murdochs (Liz Garbus and Sara Enright, 2026)

Netflix has joined forces with the creative team behind Harry & Meghan to bring yet another story of a polarising family legacy, Dynasty: The Murdochs, focusing on Rupert Murdoch and his children. Scheduled for release on March 13th, the limited series will provide access to private communications, setting itself distinctly apart from the content viewers are used to seeing in biographies and news segments about the Murdochs.

Dynasty: The Murdochs has reportedly analysed never-before-seen thousands of pages of documents, text messages, and emails, offering the audience an unprecedented look at “one of the world’s most powerful families at a crossroads, as its patriarch, Rupert Murdoch, makes one last play to ensure his legacy at all costs.” At the crux of the docu-series is a burning question about whether a dynasty is a family or a business, and as Netflix likes to put it, for the Murdochs, it’s always been indifferent.

Phantom Lawyer (Shin Jong Hun, 2026)

Hell broke loose when Netflix officially acquired the international weekly streaming rights to the upcoming supernatural legal drama, Phantom Lawyer, as part of its groundbreaking deal with SBS. So, this time, fans had better be prepared for the tremors as the South Korean legal comedy series begins streaming on Netflix starting March 13th. The show follows Sin I Rang, a clumsy, shy lawyer, who, after accidentally opening a shop in an old shaman’s house, starts to see ghosts.

Although the spirits don’t exactly help his nerves, when they start coming up with sad stories, seeking legal assistance from I Rang, his courage kicks in. While the best part about this job is how he ends up possessed by his clients for a short period, Phantom Lawyer takes a much more interesting turn when he goes against Han Na Hyeon, a lawyer who has never lost a case. But that’s only until she meets I Rang.

That Night (Jorge Dorado and Liliana Torres, 2026)

Based on Gillian McAllister’s Sunday Times bestseller, That Night is a forthcoming Spanish crime drama landing on Netflix on March 13th. The intense new thriller centres on three sisters, Elena, Paul, and Cris, who find themselves embroiled in a very unlikely incident during a family trip in the Dominican Republic. The show opens with Elena accidentally running over a man with her car, followed by a frantic call to her sisters asking for help.

As they rush to the spot of the crime, they must come to a consensus about how they handle the situation, considering they cannot bear the thought of Elena ending up behind bars, leaving her only child with a mother. While families are meant to stick through thick and thin, That Night raises the question: how far can you go to protect that family? So, we’re hoping you’ll be here for the answers.
