Based on Julia May Jonas’ bestselling novel, Vladimir is an upcoming eight-episode series starring Rachel Weisz, John Slattery, and Leo Woodall. The limited series follows a middle-aged protagonist without a moniker, who juggles her professional and personal lives as a writer, professor, wife, and mother. But in a plot twist, probably even she doesn’t see coming, just when her life comes crumbling down, she finds herself wooed by her charming new colleague, the eponymous Vladimir.
Although she has been working at the small liberal arts college for decades, this change of heart is not something even she expected. Vladimir is packed with biting dark humour, steamy secrets, and twisted characters, focusing on a woman who is desperate to turn her fantasies into reality. Scheduled to drop on March 5th, the comedy series is easily one of the most highly anticipated titles of 2026. So, save the date now!

The Dinosaurs examines the species’ origin, evolution, and ultimate fate over millennia in the face of fraught world conditions. Scheduled to be released on Netflix on March 6th, the upcoming documentary has roped in Oscar-winner Morgan Freeman, who lends his voice to the narration, a role he previously played in nature documentaries such as Life on Our Planet and Our Universe.
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man (Tom Harper, 2026)

So, it’s time for Tommy to conquer his inner demons and ultimately choose whether to do right by his legacy or let it burn to ashes. Since the country is at the battlefield, that’s where we will find our Peaky Blinders. Expect nothing less than a blockbuster, explosive chapter.
Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole (Øystein Karlsen, 2026)
Based on Jo Nesbø’s Harry Hole book series, Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole is an upcoming serial killer mystery series premiering on March 26th on Netflix that adapts the fifth book, The Devil’s Star. Created by Nesbø, who also serves as the showrunner, the whodunit is headlined by legendary anti-hero Harry Hole, a genius homicide detective who has yet to harness his own demons.
At large, Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole is a character-driven drama, centring on two police officers and seeming colleagues who work for different sides of the law. In the first season, Harry is constantly seen going head-to-head with his longtime rival, the corrupt detective Tom Waaler, as the two steer the blurred standards of morality in the criminal justice system. So, Harry doesn’t just have to bring Tom to Justice; he has to catch the serial killer, too, before time runs out.
Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen (Weronika Tofilska, Axelle Carolyn, and Lisa Brühlmann, 2026)
Lastly, the twisted horror series we have been waiting for with bated breath, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, arrives on March 26th, as well. Created by Haley Z. Boston and executive produced by the Duffer Brothers, the horror series, coming up next on Netflix, unfolds over an entire week and follows Rachel and Nicky right ahead of their wedding.
According to creator and showrunner Boston, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen’s tones and visuals fall somewhere between Carrie and Rosemary’s Baby, with added sweeteners like biting humour, absurdity, misplaced tension, and pulsating paranoia. But the inspiration isn’t restricted to that alone. Boston was also inspired by her own parents’ long-time, loving marriage, prompting her to discuss the themes surrounding it.
